Marjorie R. Becker joined other poets, including Poet Laureate of Los Angeles Lynne Thompson, for a Venice Collective Reading at a private location in Calabasas, CA. The reading took place, in part, to celebrate the book Angle of Reflection. The event marked the first in-person reading for the Venice Collective since the outset of the pandemic.

The Ventura County Poetry Project presents Marjorie R. Becker at the EP Foster Library in a virtual event hosted by Phil Taggart, Poet Laureate of Ventura County. The event begins at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a public poetry reading.

Marjorie R. Becker performs her inaugural reading from The Macon Sex School: Songs of Tenderness and Resistance, at a virtual Tebot Bach book launch party with an international audience, reading titles including “And Earthbound Touch,” and “When It Felt So Ripe Forever, Open Plum Abiding.”

Marjorie R. Becker performed for a special Ventura County Valentine’s Day reading, hosted by Ventura County Poet Laureate Phil Taggart and Marsha de la O, celebrating the art and legacy of poetry of the erotic. Marjorie read her poem, “Blush Again and Fire.”
